The Hospitality Commission is open to anyone who wishes to be a part of the parish community social events. Members of the Commission meet monthly from September through May to plan the social gatherings that are such an integral part of St. Thomas’ Church. Our group basically plans, prepares, and cleans up these events while enjoying the benefits of camaraderie and fellowship. For more information please contact:

During the course of the year, the events include (but are not limited to) the following:
A parish-wide kickoff held at the barn paddock. Menu for the picnic varies from year to year.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments served immediately following the 9:00 service from mid-September through May. Three coordinators are needed: Fall (Sept/Oct/Nov), Winter (Dec/Jan/Feb), and Spring (March/Apr/May). The coordinators recruit parishioners to set up the coffee/tea/creamers/sugars and provide refreshments weekly. They mail reminders with an instruction sheet to volunteer parishioners 5 days before the assigned date.
Served on the lawn following the 10:00 a.m. service in the summer months.
Usually one or two a year. Description of the event varies.
Parish Life Night is a quarterly meeting of all commissions to share information and opportunities with the parish at large.
Stewardship Breakfast
Breakfast served in the Parish House Auditorium for approximately 250 people.
Annual Luncheon in the Parish House Auditorium honoring our senior parishioners.
Parish-wide celebration of the holiday season.
Basically the same description and responsibilities as Stewardship Breakfast.
Another parish-wide event held at the barn.
