St. Thomas’ Nursery School
We provide a loving, supportive, safe and educational environment for
preschool children from the ages of 2yrs old- 5yrs old. We
have four lead teachers Mrs. Heritage, Mrs. Totten, Mrs. Duke and Mrs.
Helman; four assistant teachers, Mrs. Vido, Mrs. Clinton, Mrs. Smith
and Mrs. Bromley and two Specialists teachers, Mrs. Beth Gustafson and
Mrs. Cheryl Standen. Our school day is from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Our program consists of: Two’s classroom: Mrs. Anita
Totten and Mrs. Wendy Clinton
Younger two year olds, turning two by October 1, Tuesday and
Thursday.
Older two year olds, turning two by June 1, Monday, Wednesday and
Friday.
Three’s classroom: Mrs.
Kathleen Duke and Mrs. LeeAnn Smith
Younger three year olds, turning three by October 1, Tuesday and
Thursday.
Older three year olds, turning three by June 1, Monday, Wednesday
and Friday.
Pre-K/Four’s Classroom: Mrs.
Leigh Heritage and Mrs. Fran Vido
Three, four or five days per week.
Pre-K/Five’s Classroom: Mrs.
Helman and Mrs. Bromley
Five mornings a week
Enrichment available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from
12:00p.m.-2:00p.m.
Weekly specials are Music, Cooking and Spanish. We offer chapel once a
month with Pastor Bill. We also offer lunch bunch to our 2
year olds from 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m. and our 3-5 year olds from
12:00p.m.-3:00p.m.
We implemented a new curriculum in 2009, called Handwriting Without
Tears. Handwriting Without Tears® program (HWT) is an
award-winning handwriting curriculum that helps children develop school
readiness skills and succeed in handwriting.
We are committed to nurturing our children spiritually, academically
and socially here at St. Thomas Nursery School.
