How Can I Help?
January 6, 13, 20, and 27
How do we help when family or friends face a serious illness? This four week series invites those of you who have parents or friends in need of greater care to talk about the spiritual and emotional aspects of such an experience. Using reflective writings as a guide, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their insight as they consider the perspective of a friend, patient and caregiver. Sundays, 10:45-11:30am. Led by Mims Zabriskie, Ginger Goodrich and Sarah Elliott.

Want to know more about the Episcopal Church? This class is the basics for any adult who wants a refresher course or who wants to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church when Bishop Frade comes to visit on May 4. The evening begins with dinner, followed by a lecture on the topic of the evening and small group discussion. The cost is $100 per person for the entire course. This includes all meals and the book. Full scholarship is available. Wednesdays, 7:00-9:30pm. Led by The Revs. Marek Zabriskie and Whitney Altopp. Please register by calling the church office.
Learning Ways to Pray

Prayer comes in many different shapes and forms. If you would like to explore through conversation and examples different ways of prayer, find out how Jesus relates to some of the alternative forms of prayer or learn how to teach others in your household about prayer, this class is for you! Sundays, 10:45-11:30am. Led by Sarah Elliott and Jeff Wojciechowski.
The Top 10 List for Christians: Priorities for Faithful Living by James W. Moore
February 17, 24 and March 2
This fun, poignant and insightful book invites Christians to consider how they live out the Gospel in their lives. Using personal illustrations and stories from the Bible, Moore creates fertile ground for his readers to reflect on their priorities in light of Jesus’ teachings. This book discussion group promises to provide a light-hearted way for the participants to practice self-reflection during this season of Lent. Sundays, 10:45-11:30am. Led by Ken Oliver.
A Lenten Study

Come explore the Gospel of Holy Week in these afternoon sessions, revisiting the weeks before Jesus' death and resurrection. During our time together we'll reflect on the scripture passage, its historical context and discuss is relevance into our lives today. This mix-gendered group promises lively discussion and prayerful reflection! No previous Bible knowledge required! A wonderful Lenten discipline for new and experienced Christians alike. Sundays, 4:00-5:30pm. Led by Heather Schreiber.
Lost and Found: Adolescence, Parenting and the Formation of Faith

Adolescence is a unique time of personal growth, not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually as well. Amanda Millay Hughes, co-author of the Journey to Adulthood program, offers personal insights, a sound theological perspective and years of experience to her readers.
