St. Thomas' Annouces Its New Rental Space Program
St. Thomas' Church, Whitemarsh instituted a new rental space program on May 31, 2006 that includes leasing opportunties on a variety of buildings and grounds on the church campus. The goal of the program is to provide financial support to the campus as well as entice new members to become part of the church community.

On May 31, 2006 the church hosted a “sneak peak” kick-off event introducing the leasing program to parishioners and community members alike -- highlighting the room rentals that are available.


St. Thomas' has a beautiful church, attractive halls and picturesque grounds to provide the proper setting for any type of event or function including:


RENTAL SPACES AVAILABLE:
The listing below represents the hall name, maximum occupancy, and pertinent info on amenities.
"MacColl Auditorium": 225 people for a sit down meal, full commercial kitchen, stage area for entertainment
"Schoolhouse Auditorium": 80 people for a sit down meal, kitchen workspace with refrigeration and a sink, stage area for entertainment
"Haas Hall": 60 people for a sit down meal, kitchenette, grand piano, air conditioning
"The Living Room": 60 people for a sit down meal, kitchenette, air conditioning
"The Paddock": 150 people for a sit down meal, full kitchen, covered areas for serving and entertainment, open air venue

The above spaces are rented on an hourly basis (with a two hour minimum). Tables and chairs are available for use; setup of the same is an additional fee. Some adjustments can be made for the number of people in a party and for extended functions over 5 hours.
The church has also formed alliances with a number of highly respected local businesses that will provide catering services, specialty foods, decorations, furnishings and floral requirements.
