An estimated $6,200 was raised at the October 13 Second Saturday sale and will be given to the Fuller Center for Housing, established by Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity, and Keystone Hospice.

This brings the funds raised at six monthly sales to
OVER $39,281.45!!!

Among the customers at the October sale was a member of another church who bought a bike for a Turkish immigrant single mother so that she can accompany her 13-year-old son on bike rides along Kelly Drive.

CO-CHAIR NEEDED:  With the retirement of Deb Steeves as chair of the Second Saturday Sale, the search is on for a co-chair to join Ellen Greenleaf in running the 2008 Second Saturday Sales that will take place from May through October.  Anyone interested is asked to call Outreach Commission member Gail Simmonds at 215-233-2324 or gsimmonds@chestnuthillacademy.
