What is Realm?

Realm is an online ministry tool designed for real-time connection and engagement. It allows our church to connect with you through targeted communications, newsfeeds, and more, and enables you to connect with us and other members quickly and efficiently.

The church office uses it as an administrative, accounting, and database tool. Church members can use it to:

  • Manage your pledge and giving details

  • Update your personal entry in the online directory

  • Search for church members in the online directory

  • Volunteer for posted opportunities

  • Register for events - and pay any associated fees

  • Contact individual church members, staff, or groups - using the chat feature

  • Strengthen your church connections by staying informed about church happenings and opportunities for fellowship

Connect no matter where you are! Download the Realm Connect app after you’ve set up your account from the Apple App Store click here or the Google Play Store click here.

Stewardship

You may set up recurring gifts, give once, view your giving history, and make changes at any time. You can also sign up for paid events.

Privacy

Realm is safe, private, and secure. Realm allows you to manage your personal information and who is allowed to see it. Only MEMBERS of St. Thomas’ have access to our directory – not prospective members, guests, volunteers, etc. Only adults with the appropriate permissions (parents or designated church staff) can see child profiles.

Privacy levels:

o   Any St. Thomas’ Realm Member: Everyone in our church with a Realm login can see this info

o   Leaders & group/serving team members: Only members of the same groups, commission and ministry area leaders, and administrators can see this info

o   Leaders: Only commission and ministry area leaders and administrators can see this info

Realm Privacy

Getting Started

St. Thomas’ Realm Connect app is for church members only. You will receive an email invitation to join Realm. You must click on the link in that email to sign up. Once you sign up and set a password, you can update your information. If you did not receive a link, please email: realm@stthomaswhitemarsh.org

Update Your Information

After you have activated your profile and logged in, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner of your profile screen. Select “My Profile” to check the information about you and your privacy settings. Click on “Edit Profile” to change your contact information. To see your privacy settings, click on “Manage Privacy.”
