There’s a place for you here.

V I S I T

No matter who you are, what you’ve been through, or where you’re coming from, this is a community that will welcome you—with joy, grace and open hearts. Join us for a Sunday service. Get to know Father Dave or Mother Amy (you may call them by first name if you would prefer) over coffee. Attend one of our Adult Forums where we might be discussing anything from the history of Christian iconography to the spiritual roles of animals in our lives. Explore our campus and walk the Labyrinth. We’d love to share the vibrancy of our community with you.

Become a member.

You won’t need to go through any hoops or hurdles to become a member of St. Thomas’ Church. There are only two requirements: 1) Baptism* and 2) Newcomers Orientation. If you’ve been baptized* and want to make St. Thomas’ your church home, the steps are simple.

*If you haven’t yet been baptized, you can sign up for the Newcomers Orientation, during which the clergy will share more about baptism in the Episcopal Church.

Step 1:

Register your baptism with St Thomas’. We accept the baptismal rites of all Christian churches (at any age) as the real thing; we never “re-baptize” anyone. Let us know when you were baptized and your previous church home (if applicable).

Step 2:

Attend a Newcomers Social. These informal meet-and-greets, not required for membership, allow you to get to know the clergy and parish members.

The next social will take place: Thursday, October 8, 2026, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Meet and greet with clergy and members of the congregation in the Thayer Family Lounge and the Hutchinson Room.

7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Clergy-led conversation.

RSVP: Newcomers Orientation ~ Thursday, October 8, 2026

Step 3:

Attend a Newcomers Orientation. This orientation, led by both St. Thomas’ clergy and lay members, is held frequently throughout the year. Each session begins with a tour of the church, followed by lunch and discussion, including information on the Episcopal Church, St. Thomas’, and how to become a member and get involved!

The next orientation will take place: Sunday, October 11 or 25, 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.:

  • 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.: Tour, beginning in the Church

  • 12:15 p.m.-1:00 p.m.: Lunch and Discussion, in the Thayer Family Lounge and Hutchinson Room

RSVP: Newcomers Class ~ October 11 & 25, 2026

Step 4:

Participate in Welcome Sunday. This is an opportunity to celebrate, recognize, and pray for those in the Newcomers Orientation during an upcoming Sunday service.

If you have any questions about membership or ways to get involved, reach out to our administrative coordinator, the Rev. Kristin Waskowicz Woods.

“I was looking to restart my spiritual journey, to see what the Episcopal Church was about and if I would fit in, to see if I could find a welcoming and inclusive community (I did!).”
