Good communication leads to deeper communion.
St. Thomas’ takes communications seriously because it’s deeply spiritual: an informed congregation connects more deeply with God and each other. Our member-driven Communications Commission meets monthly to ensure our communication is reflective of our parish and serves the needs of our diverse community.
Current
We have two weekly communication pieces: our printed announcement insert, which is circulated each Sunday in the worship bulletin, and our Friday email (sign up here). Both reflect current news and provide information on upcoming developments and events. Twice annually we print our Parish Call newsletter which is mailed to all members and available online. Our Annual Report is published in March.
We use three main online channels: YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. We encourage anyone interested in St. Thomas’ to follow us online. On Sundays, we livestream and archive the 10:00 a.m. service and Adult Forum. We also livestream weddings, funerals, and concerts.
Our communications team always welcomes member submissions of photos, articles, and news of upcoming plans.
